Overview

Our Schrock Run and Schrock Run Extension Mines are two surface mines located in Berlin, PA, employing approximately 20 full-time workers.

Starting late in the second quarter of 2019 these mines began operating at full run-rates. The Schrock Run Extension Mines are currently operating at full run-rate production levels and are expected to produce between 160,000 – 180,000 tons per year of low volatile metallurgical coal. We expect production from these surface mines to be low cost due to easier access to the surface coal seams.
